A draft tobacco-control plan for Russia during 2016-2020 provides for the introduction of standardised cigarette packs, according to a Kommersant story.

In addition, the Health Ministry plans to include a ban on the use of flavorings in　cigarettes.

And it intends to work towards the imposition of higher excise taxes on tobacco products. Enditem
