China: Call for a total ban on e-cigarettes in Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Council on Smoking and Health said on Monday that it wants the government to impose a total ban on e-cigarettes.

The council chairman, Antonio Wong said right now e-cigarettes are easy to buy and appealing to the youth."This may act as a gateway for future smokers," he warned.

He said he supports a government plan to increase the size of the warning on cigarette packets.

He said it needs to increase from 50% to 85% coverage as it's losing its deterrent effect. Enditem
