Belarus Approves Tobacco Quotas for 2015 Source from: Belarusian Telegraph Agency (BelTA) 01/07/2015 ![]() The Belarusian Government approved the quotas for the production of tobacco goods to be sold in the country in 2015 at last year's level which was 30 billion pieces, reads Resolution No. 1260 of the Council of Ministers dated 30 December 2014, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government. This year the enterprises of Belgospishcheprom Group will be able to produce 23 billion cigarettes, 18.9 billion of them are cigarettes with filter (Kronon, Magnat, Minsk, Premier, Fest, Credo, Matrix, NZ, Portal and Queen). The 2015 tobacco quotas for Minsk (the joint venture Tabak Invest) is 7 billion pieces, of them 1.4 billions are filter cigarettes (Korona and Fort). The annual quotas for tobacco goods are approved by the government in accordance with the enactment governing the state regulation of production, turnover and consumption of raw tobacco and tobacco goods approved by Decree No. 28 as of 17 December 2002.
