Spain to Ban Most E-cigarette Ads

The Spanish government is set to move ahead with a ban on E-cigarette ads during times when children are most likely to be watching television, officials said.

The devices, which some insist are a tool to help smokers quit and others say are more likely to hook young people on nicotine, cannot be advertised on television from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. under a law that's supported by a majority of the nation's political parties.

Additionally, any advertising for E-cigarettes must clearly state the product contains nicotine and is highly addictive, ThinkSpain reported Tuesday. Enditem
