Excise Duties on Cigarettes Go up in Montenegro

The Government has adopted the proposed amendments to the Excise Duties Law, envisaging an increase in the specific excise duties on cigarettes to EUR 0.35 from EUR 0.30 per pack or to EUR 17.5 from EUR 15 per 1,000 cigarettes.

The Ministry of Finance says that the proposed amendments envisage a decrease in proportional rate from EUR 36 to 35 percent of the retail price. Enditem
