Switzerland: Swiss Lag in Anti-smoking Efforts

Switzerland is behind the rest of Europe in the fight to crack down on smoking.

That's according to the latest World Health Organisation report analyzing the success of the MPOWER initiative.

Switzerland isn't included as the report claims the country's measures don't comply with WHO guidelines.

The report blames Switzerland's federal structure saying there is little consistency between cantons in implementing anti-tobacco legislation. Enditem
