Pakistan to Launch First Ever Searchable Database on Tobacco Control on May 27

Pakistan would launch and exhibit its first ever searchable database on tobacco protection on Monday (today) as Pakistan joins global movements to mark World No Tobacco Day 2013.

The Network for Consumer Protection plans multiple activities to highlight the significance of tobacco control for Pakistan. It has developed Pakistan's first ever searchable database on tobacco control which will be launched and exhibited before media in a Press Conference.

The database which is a complete resource on tobacco control in Pakistan and gives a clear picture of international front too will be a milestone for researchers, medical and health community, academia and media.

The Network has urged the all the citizens especially media colleagues to join hands for effective tobacco control in Pakistan. Enditem
