Japan: Crystal Cruises Further Restricts Smoking

With one exception, Crystal Cruises will ban smoking in all indoor areas of its ships, beginning in 2014.

Crystal said it would allow smoking in the Connoisseur's Club smoking lounge and in designated outdoor spots.

The change eliminates smoking in all staterooms and suites, the Crystal Cove lobby lounge and Pulse and Luxe nightclubs, Crystal said.

Most areas of Crystal ships have been nonsmoking for several years. Enditem
