Kyrgyz parliamentarians approved the bill on banning alcohol and tobacco advertisement in media, Kabar reported.

The ban proposal was made at a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports by deputy Rosa Aknazarova.

Her colleague, Dastan Bekeshev, supported the idea, saying that now advertisement of alcohol and tobacco products in the media is prohibited till 10 p.m. However, he added that the children often do not sleep at this time, "they watch TV and advertisement looks interesting."
