Bulgaria: Most Part of the Society Supports the Full Ban on Smoking in Public Places

Effects of the full ban on smoking in indoor places could be seen in a long run. That is what Dr. Angel Kunchev, chief health inspector with the Ministry of Healthcare stated for Good Morning Bulgaria, morning talk show on Radio FOCUS.

In his words all positive effects from the introduced complete ban on smoking could not been seen in a short run, because it's a process that continuously affects the health. According to Angel Kunchev the first positive results will become visible in 2-3 years, when the percentage of smokers will decrease alongside with the number of the cardiovascular diseases and other social diseases.　Enditem
