Imperial Brands teams up with Beirut Duty Free

Imperial Brands has partnered with Beirut Duty Free to launch its myblu e-cigarette kit for the first time in an airport location.

The launch was supported by a prominent placement in-store and sales force support.

Throughout the campaign, the product is displayed at the centre of the main shop, on an exclusive pillar demonstrating the kits and different flavour pods.

Brand ambassadors are also present to assist customers on the myblue device and explain the wide flavour portfolio and nicotine levels.

In addition, the promotion offers a promo bundle with two additional pods with every purchase of a starter kit.

According to Imperial Brands, the Initial results “exceed expectations” and have showcased the potential blu could in the duty free environment.

The kit has already been launched in several domestic markets and plans are already in place to roll out myblu to more airports over the next six months.

Maria Eugenia Sánchez-Lozano, NGP Manager GDF&E, said: “The regional team led by Vangelis Nikolopoulos have done an incredible job in making this happen, and thanks our strong team-work and learnings exerted from Beirut we can now fully focus on expanding blu’s footprint in duty free.”

The Beirut Duty Free launch was the result of a collaboration between PAC, MidExport and Imperial’s Global Duty Free & Export team.  Enditem
