Espinosa Cigars to Distribute D''Crossier Brands

Erik Espinosa of Espinosa Premium Cigars has agreed to distribute the D'Crossier cigar lines from Pure Aroma Cigars Inc. There are currently five D'Crossier brands-Golden Blend, L'Forte, Imperium Class Vintage, Premium Blend and Presidential Collection-with a sixth, Flor de D'Crossier Selection No. 512, to be introduced this week. The distribution agreement went into effect May 1.

"Erik and I are good friends," Isaias Santana Diaz, president of Pure Aroma Cigars, told Cigar Aficionado. "We met at the 2009 IPCPR trade show and got to know each other. We worked on a few blends together. When we first met it was business, but now we're like family."

Established in 2006, Pure Aroma Cigars Inc. is based in Miami, Florida. The company manufactures its D'Crossier cigars at the Pure Aroma Cigars S.A. factory in Costa Rica. Much of the company's tobacco hails from the mountainous Puriscal region of the country.
