Blanco Inks Canadian Distribution Deal

José Blanco is going to Canada. The cigarmaker's Las Cumbres Tabaco has formed a distribution agreement with Canada's House of Horvath Inc. to distribute his cigars in Canada. The deal begins the first week of February with a launch party at Victory Cigars in Oshawa, Ontario.

For a young company—Blanco formed Las Cumbres in early 2014 and began selling cigars that June—Las Cumbres has a bit of international reach. His cigars are also sold in Sweden and Russia, along with the United States.

The Señorial by José Blanco Corona Gorda No. 5 scored 90 points in the February issue of Cigar Aficionado, with Liam Neeson on the cover.

House of Horvath is a distributor based in Ottawa and founded in 1977. Today it distributes many familiar brands throughout Canada, including cigars produced by My Father, La Aurora, Joya de Nicaragua and Drew Estate. Enditem
