British American Tobacco Welcomes Three New Board Directors Source from: livecharts.co.uk 01/23/2015 ![]() British American Tobacco confirmed on Thursday that three new members will join its board as non-executive directors. Sue Farr, Pedro Malan and Dimitri Panayotopoulos will be established board directors as of 2 February, according to a statement released by the group. Farr is the former chairwoman of The Marketing Society and the Marketing Group of Great Britain. She also boasts a career in corporate communications in both agency, private and public sector organisations from the BBC to Vauxhall Motors. Malan was the Finance Minister of Brazil from 1995 until 2002. He is also a member of the boards of utility company EDP. Malan has also been a director of Thomson Reuters Founders Share Company since 2011 and a member of the Temasek International Panel since 2012. Panayotopoulos has been a senior advisor at consulting firm Boston Consulting Group since April 2014. He was also vice chairman and advisor to the chairman and CEO of Procter and Gamble, from where retired in January 2014. Chairman of the British American Tobacco Richard Burrows said: "I welcome these new members to our board. They add significant consumer marketing experience and business and geopolitical skills and enhance the diversity of the board membership." Enditem |
