Nigeria: BATN Changes Fleet to Peugeot Source from: Daily Trust 12/23/2014 ![]() The British American Tobacco (BAT) of Nigeria took delivery of different models of Peugeot vehicles from PAN Nigeria Limited in a move described by both organisations as a sign of new things to come between them. BATN bought four units of the Peugeot 301, four units of 4008, two units of the 3008 and one unit of the 508 model, totaling 11 vehicles. The stylish cars, which are new definition of the Lion brand comes in automatic transmission. Ademola Omitayo, Head, Trade and Marketing BATN said their decision to shift to Peugeot cars is to support the new National Automotive Industry Development Plan (NAIDP) as approved by the federal government which emphasised patronage of local vehicle plants. Freddy Messanvi, Cor-porate Affairs Director of BATN said the choice of Peugeot cars was predicated on the company's inventory of the brands by BAT's operational offices outside Nigeria in terms of after sales service and maintenance.
