US: Gilchrist Promoted to CFO at RAI

Reynolds American (RAI) said Andrew Gilchrist, formerly president and chief commercial officer of RJ Reynolds Tobacco, will replace Thomas Adams as RAI's chief financial officer from 1 March, 2015.

Adams will retire after handing over his CFO and executive vice president role in a transition to begin in January, RAI said. Gilchrist is 42 years old and is an executive vice president at RAI. He has a financial and commercial background, the parent company of Reynolds Tobacco said. Adams has been CFO since 2008. Enditem
