Sri Lanka Tobacco Company Appoints A Non Executive Director

Sri Lanka's Ceylon Tobacco Company Plc resolved to appoint Kenneth George Allen as a non executive director of the company with effect from 7th October 2014, the company said in a stock exchange announcement.

Allen has over 25 years of experience in the tobacco industry. He has started his career with Rothmans in Australia in 1988 as a management accountant.

In 1999 he has moved to British American Tobacco and since then he has held number of senior finance appointments in the company. Presently he is the Head of Regional Operations Finance and is based in Singapore.

Ken holds a degree in Commerce with Accounting Major from University of Western Sydney. Enditem
