<strong>China: Regional Corporation, Cerulean in Technological Exchange</strong>

China Tobacco Chuanyu Industrial Co., Ltd. in southwest China and Cerulean of Britain have launched technological exchange between them, with the holding of activities of technological training and exchange on the performance and application of testing equipment supplied by Cerulean.

It was learned from the technology research and development center of China Tobacco Chuanyu Industrial Co., Ltd. on August 22 that the center sponsored an activity of technological exchange with users of Cerulean testing equipment at Chengdu branch of Sichuan Tobacco Industry Corporation in southwest China's Sichuan Province on August 11-14.

In June 2014, China Tobacco Chuanyu Industrial Co., Ltd. conducted the first activity of technological exchange with Cerulean, and the two sides signed an agreement on technological cooperation, under which Cerulean held the exclusive on-site technological training this time as scheduled.

The testing department of the technology research and development center of China Tobacco Chuanyu Industrial Co., Ltd. was in charge of the whole-process organization of the training. Technicians from the technology department of Sichuan Tobacco Industry Corporation, the technology department of Chongqing Tobacco Industry Corporation in southwest China, and the various subsidiaries of the companies attended the training.

The four-day training comprised two days of technological exchange and discussion and two days of on-site operation training and answering of questions, with the focus on on-site exploration into technological questions.

Besides, in accordance with the requirement of the agreement, experts with the technological service team of Cerulean and technicians from the testing department and the basic department of the technology research and development center of China Tobacco Chuanyu Industrial Co., Ltd. also held technological discussions on the use and expansion of the straight line smoking machine.
