Imperial Tobacco Ireland Supports Community Projects Source from: Imperial Tobacco 05/19/2014 Employees from our business in Ireland gave up their own time to support community projects for the inaugural John Player Inspiration Day.
Around 40 volunteers – more than two thirds of our Dublin office – rolled up their sleeves and got stuck into three demanding tasks across the city. By the end of the day they had painted accommodation for a charity working with vulnerable women, carried out repairs on a listed building and helped out at a community centre for disadvantaged families. Rebecca Murray, Business Support Executive, said: "We enjoyed every minute of making this opportunity a very positive experience for our employees. "This employee volunteering event was the brainchild of our 'Great Place to Work' team who helped bring the first Inspiration Day to life. "It is a perfect example of how we live the Imperial values and we hope it will now go on to become an annual event." Enditem |
