Dubai Pilots New Graduate Scheme

A pilot project to recruit talented graduates to our business is helping Imperial to forge stronger ties with universities in Dubai.

Our Middle East HR team, working closely with the Group Graduate Resourcing team, tested a new assessment process to identify top talent.

Candidates from four major international universities attended a workshop at the American University of Dubai aimed at putting their theoretical knowledge into practice in a simulated business environment.

Our Dubai office is the first to try out this approach, which has been designed to attract and aid selection of graduates to the business within a short timeframe.

Sherif Elogeiry, Head of HR for the Middle East, said: "This was our first chance to promote Imperial using the new Employee Valuation Proposition, or EVP, 'Bring it on'.

"Engaging with the student population using this new approach combined with the EVP worked very well indeed." Enditem
