Kenya: Mastermind Owes Farmers Sh100 Million Source from: The Star 02/24/2014 ![]() TOBACCO farmers in in Migori county have threatened to stop supplying the produce to Mastermind Tobacco Kenya Company. They said they owe the company more than Sh100million from last year's deliveries. Farmers in Kuria West and East, Nyatike, Uriri and Migori subcounties have started avoiding the delivery centres. Mosaisi John, a farmer from Nyabohanse area of Kuria west district, said the company owes him Sh80,000 accrued from two seasons. He said he will never to sell his produce to the company. "We have been conned twice and even after the county government told the company to pay us they have not done so," he said.
