Imperial Tobacco Wined The Top Team  in the Netherlands

Our Dutch business has been named as the winner of a national award voted for by food store retailers.

It is the first time in 10 years that a tobacco company has come first in the non-food category of the EFMI Industriebutie awards.

The Imperial Tobacco team was recognised for its excellent levels of engagement and support in three areas – account management, supply chain and trade marketing.

Ronald van Bilsen, Head of Sales in the Netherlands, and Joris Willemse, National Sales Manager, accepted the award at a ceremony last week, where Imperial beat off competition from Procter & Gamble and Heineken.

Ronald said: "Winning this award is great recognition for our people as it places us in the same league as the likes of Unilever and Coca-Cola.

"We focus on execution excellence in working with our key accounts and this is the reward for the dedication of our engaged team." Enditem
