<strong>China: Hongtashan Brand Primary Line Technology Approved by STMA</strong>

On December 19, Hongtashan brand dedicated primary line comprehensive review meeting held in China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Corp.'s Chuxiong Cigarette Factory in Yunnan. Officials of Economic Operation Department, Science Department, China Tobacco Machinery Group, Zhengzhou Tobacco Research Institute, China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial corp., Hongta Group and leading technology experts of tobacco industry attended the meeting.

In the review meeting, review committee agreed that the Hongtashan brand dedicated line, completed the major research contents required by the specific implementation plan of Chinese-style cigarette primary line, achieved the required technical and economic indicators, reached the remarkable economic benefits and social benefits, and made significant innovations in the brand material security technology, fine processing technology of high-grade products, normal product homogenization processing technology, etc..

"Hongta brand dedicated primary line core technology research" project is a major project of  "Chinese-style cigarette primary line" of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration, the project sets up to make the Hongtashan brand bigger and stronger as the ultimate goal, and lasted three years. The new product line，based on the project research achievements, has been formally put into production in July 2012 in Chuxiong Cigarette Factory. The production line can meet requirements of high-end and middle-low-end cigarettes processing line. Currently, the new line mainly produces "Yuxi", "Hongta" and "Red berries"three series brand cigarettes. Enditem
