Imperial Tobacco Skruf Subsidiary Celebrates 10 Years

Our Skruf subsidiary held a series of anniversary events at our factory in Sweden to mark a decade of growth for our Scandinavian snus business.

Current snus production is now 100 times the levels back in 2003 when the company was first formed.

Today Skruf is the second biggest snus producer in Scandinavia with a 16.2 per cent market share.

A day of celebrations was staged at our snus factory in Sävsjö for employees, trade partners, suppliers and civic dignitaries.

Around 300 guests were invited to take part in factory tours and meet the management team ahead of a 10th anniversary party in the evening.

Factory manager Lawrence Kiernan, said: "It was a pleasure to thank our customers, colleagues and the local community for their contributions to the Skruf story." Enditem
