<strong>China Tobacco Hubei Industrial Corp. Builds First Class Cigar Production Base</strong>

On November 3, Peng Mingquan, the National People's Congress, general manager of China Tobacco Hubei Industrial Corp. and party secretary, visited Three Gorges Cigarette Factory in Yiling distract of Hubei Province, and discussed cigar production base of Three Gorges Cigarette Factory with officials of Yiling distract.

It is said that, the cigar production base construction project will cover an area of 110 mu, 500 million yuan will be invested at first stage, and 1 billion yuan will be invested at the 2nd phase. When it is completed, the base will become one of the four biggest cigar production bases.

At present, Three Gorges Cigarette Factory of China Tobacco Hubei Industrial Corp. manufactured 60 million units hand-rolled cigars, and 25000 cases mechanism cigars. These cigar products are sold to Europe，southeast Asia and 170 tobacco commercial branches of 21 provinces in China, and annual output value over 1 billion yuan. Enditem
