<strong>China: Delegation of Provincial People''s Congress Inspects Cigarette Factory</strong>

A delegation of members of the 12th Yunnan Provincial People's Congress – the legislature of southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province – recently visited Qujing Cigarette Factory of HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group to inspect the technological transformation and construction of production facilities there.

The delegation was led by Kong Chuizhu, deputy chairman of the Standing Committee of the 12th Yunnan Provincial People's Congress. Accompanied by Director Li Lin and other leaders of Qujing Cigarette Factory, the delegation conducted on-site inspection of the construction of the new cut tobacco and cigarette rolling and packing joint workshops and support facilities around them, hearing reports on the relevant work of cigarette production organization, designing and execution of projects of technological transformation, technological layout, etc.

Kong Chuizhu expressed appreciation over the high efficiency and smooth completion of the project of technological transformation of Qujing Cigarette Factory, and fully affirmed the scientific and rational technological layout of the new workshops and orderly production organization at Qujing Cigarette Factory.
