<strong>China: HongyunHonghe Signs Leaf Tobacco Supply Deals with Tobacco Companies</strong> Source from: HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group 08/16/2013 ![]() HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province – the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer – has recently signed agreements with Kunming City Tobacco Company, Honghe Prefecture Tobacco Company and Qujing City Tobacco Company in the province on the supply of leaf tobacco for its cigarette production in the year 2013. The signing of the agreements followed symposiums between HongyunHonghe and each of the three tobacco companies, respectively held in Kunming, Honghe and Qujing Cities. Speaking at the symposiums, HongyunHonghe Deputy CEO Gu Hong and Assistant to the CEO Wang Shaokun separately introduced to the three tobacco companies the situation of economic operation of HongyunHonghe in the first half of 2013, and frankly talked about the plans of HongyunHonghe for taking delivery of leaf tobacco from exclusive high-quality leaf tobacco production and supply bases in Kunming City, Honghe Prefecture and Qujing City, pledging that HongyunHonghe would raise is awareness about service provision and that the tobacco group would exert all efforts to do a good job of taking delivery of leaf tobacco for the current year. Also speaking at the symposiums, Deputy Manager Yang Yongping of Kunming City Tobacco Company, Director Liang Bing of Honghe Prefecture Tobacco Company and Director (Manager) Wu Lizhu of Qujing City Tobacco Company respectively recalled the history of favorable cooperation between their companies and HongyunHonghe, and introduced both the situation of production of flue-cured tobacco by the three tobacco companies and their plans for business operation in a next period of time, saying that they would exert all efforts to guarantee the supply of high-quality leaf tobacco for the production of cigarettes of key brands of HongyunHonghe.
