<strong>China: First Phase of Hongyun-Honghe''s Logistics Information Platform Goes Online</strong> Source from: Hongyunhonghe Tobacco Group 08/05/2013 ![]() The first phase of the logistics information platform of HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province officially went online on August 1, upon completion of joint development by the Information Management Department and the Logistics Center of the tobacco group. The logistics information platform of HongyunHonghe is an end-to-end comprehensive closed-loop logistics business platform developed by the tobacco group in accordance with the orientation of development of the logistics business set by the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (STMA) leading to the establishment of a lean logistics system based on science and technology that puts people first, in keeping with the "3617" annual working target of HongyunHonghe, in implementation of the logistics business guideline of "efficiency, gains and service", and with informatization as the basis. The construction of the first phase of the logistics information platform is intended to strive to realize unified management and high-efficiency operation of businesses of transportation and storage including finished cigarette products, raw materials, supplies, and spare parts and components, and directly supply logistics providers in cooperation with service of support and cooperation by means of cooperation in resources. As a result of the construction of the first phase of the project, the logistics information platform of HongyunHonghe has become capable of comprehensively covering and mastering the logistics operation on the part of Kunming, Honghe, Qujing and Huize Cigarette Factories of HongyunHonghe within the home province of Yunnan, to gradually realize centralized management of support logistics businesses and promote the level of logistics management, and to provide powerful guarantee for centralized operation of logistics of HongyunHonghe and the construction of the system of standardization of the tobacco group.
