<strong>China: HongyunHonghe Holds Board of Directors Meeting on Business Development</strong>

HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province – the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer – held the 11st session of its 2nd Board of Directors on July 17, to sum up production and operation in the first half of 2013 and to discuss relevant work arrangements for the second half of the year.

Attending the meeting were Board of Directors Chairman Yao Qingyan, and Directors Wu Yi, Xu Liwei, Zhao Zimin, Qi Yan, Guo Man and Fang Bin. The meeting was presided over by Yao Qingyan.
 
Meanwhile, Supervisors Tian Dongming, Lu Qi and Jiang Lei; Board of Directors Secretary Luo Jianhua; Director Zhang Jun of the Working Office of the Board of Directors of China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Co., Ltd.; other HongyunHonghe leaders Gu Hong, Bi Fenglin, He Guogang, Wang Jiashou, Dai Wei and Huang Muzhong; Chief Financial Officer Zhou Xufang; CEO Assistant Wang Shaokun; and leaders of the relevant departments of HongyunHonghe were also present at the meeting as observers.
 
In an address delivered at the meeting, CEO Wu Yi reported the results of production and operation by HongyunHonghe in the first half of 2013 and work arrangements for the second half of the year.
 
The meeting held sufficient discussions about the implementation of budgets in the first half of the year and the annual budgets, mid-term readjustments to the investment planning of HongyunHonghe, the retirement of assets, distribution of profits, construction of projects and other items on the agenda.
 
The meeting also reviewed and adopted a package of proposals, and put forward constructive opinions and suggestions. The directors attending the meeting fully affirmed the achievements made by HongyunHonghe so far, and expressed full confidence in the development of the tobacco group in future. Enditem
