<strong>China: HongyunHonghe Performs Well in Sample Quality Survey</strong>

HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province – the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer – showed good performance at a recent comprehensive sample survey of the quality of cigarette products administered by Yunnan Provincial Tobacco Monopoly Administration.

On June 24-27, Yunnan Provincial Tobacco Monopoly Administration held in Chuxiong City of Yunnan the working meeting on supervisory sample survey of the quality of cigarette products made in Yunnan and also on internal supervision and control of cigarette products quality in Yunnan for the first half of 2013.

Attending the meeting were leaders and experts from Yunnan Provincial Tobacco Monopoly Administration, which doubles as Yunnan Provincial Tobacco Corporation, China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Co., Ltd., Yunnan Provincial Tobacco Quality Supervision and Monitoring Station, Yunnan Tobacco Science Research Institute, HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group, Hongta Group and all cigarette making enterprises in Yunnan.

In the three days of the meeting, the members of the judging panel conducted sensory evaluation of a total of 61 specifications of randomly taken cigarette products of HongyunHonghe and Hongta, and conducted tests and analysis of the physical indexes and smoke of the cigarettes products.

In the sample quality survey, all the cigarette products of HongyunHonghe randomly taken were found to be up to the relevant technical standards in the tests and analysis. In particular, Yunyan (Dachongjiu) took the first place in sensory quality inspection.

Eventually, Yunyan (Dachongjiu), Yunyan (Impression) and Yunyan (5mg Impression) of HongyunHonghe respectively took the first, second and thir4d places in the sample quality survey. Enditem
