<strong>China: HongyunHonghe Meets on Control of Consumption in Cigarette Production</strong> Source from: HongyunHonghe Group 06/19/2013 ![]() HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province – the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer – recently held a meeting at its subsidiary Qujing Cigarette Factory to exchange views on the work of controlling material consumption in cigarette production for the year 2013. Attending the meeting were relevant leaders of Qujing Cigarette Factory, leaders of the production and manufacturing center of HongyunHonghe, relevant leaders of the six cigarette-making enterprises of HongyunHonghe in charge of the work of cigarette production management, et al. The one-day meeting consisted of a symposium and an on-site visit, making up a fine platform for the subsidiaries of HongyunHonghe to share their experience in the relevant work and promote the work of controlling material consumption in cigarette production to higher levels. After the meeting, the participants visited the cigarette making and leaf tobacco cutting workshops of Qujing Cigarette Factory, which has just undergone a round of technological transformation, to conduct on-site one-on-one study and exchange. The representatives of the six cigarette making enterprises agreed that control over material consumption in cigarette production is a type of long-term complicated systems engineering, and that in future, all need to have more exchange, more communication, make concerted efforts and jointly solve the puzzles and difficult problems to be encountered in practical work, in keeping promoting the work of controlling material consumption in cigarette production by HongyunHonghe to higher levels.
