<strong>China: HongyunHonghe Holds Working Conference on Investment Diversity</strong>

HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province – the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer – held on April 27 a working conference on the management of its investment diversity in 2013, summing up the work of investment diversity in 2012, and specifying the guideline for investment diversity in 2013.

At the conference, relevant leaders of the investment diversity management department of HongyunHonghe delivered a working report entitled Promoting Reform, Seizing Opportunities and Enhancing the Capacity to Practically Boost Favorable and Healthy Development of Investment Diversity.

The report objectively summed up the work of investment diversity by HongyunHonghe in 2012, and specified the guideline for the work of investment diversity by the tobacco group in 2013 – with adherence to the guiding principle of "Regulating Operation and Stabilizing Business Development" on the work of business diversity adopted by the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration, in accordance with the working requirement of "Enhancing the Capacity, Guaranteeing Service Provision, and Realizing Integration and Optimization to Make Diversified Investment by HongyunHonghe More Specialized, More Practical and Stronger", on the basis of the working target of enhancing the capacity to guarantee service provision, the operation management capacity and self-development capacity, and with investment in the incorporation of companies and renewal and transformation of hotels as two leading working lines, to promote reform of the investment management system, to strengthen supervision and control over assets, to optimize and integrate resources, to raise the efficiency of operation of assets, to improve the situation of operation, to foster core business, to improve the image of competitive brands, and to practically improve the quality and efficiency of the development of diversified investment.
