<strong>China: Provincial Corporation Chief Inspects Ulanhot Cigarette Factory</strong> Source from: HongYunHongHe Group 05/08/2013 ![]() Chairman Liu Wandong of the Board of Directors of China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Co., Ltd. in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province inspected Ulanhot Cigarette Factory in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, which is affiliated to HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group, on April 16, hearing reports and giving instructions on business development. Accompanying Liu Wandong and his entourage on the inspection were Wang Chengxi, secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Xing'an League Committee; Ma Huanlong, secretary of the CPC Ulanhot City Committee; and Wang Wenzhong, deputy general manager of the Tobacco Monopoly Administration of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. During the inspection, Director Wang Baojia and other leaders of Ulanhot Cigarette Factory showed Liu Wandong and his entourage around the cigarette production workshops and the corporate culture corridor at the factory, and held talks with them. At the talks, Wang Baojia delivered a report on the situation of development of Ulanhot Cigarette Factory, including the course of development, technological transformation, corporate culture development, structural reform of cigarette brands, the ongoing production and operation, and the "3030" target development planning of the enterprise in the 2011-2015 five-year period. Under the "3030" target development planning, Ulanhot Cigarette Factory will strive to increase its annual cigarette production capacity to 300,000 cases (15 billion cigarettes) and increase its annual amount of taxes and profits to a total of 3 billion yuan (480 million U.S. dollars). After hearing the report, Liu Wandong said that China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Co., Ltd. attaches great importance to the development of Ulanhot Cigarette Factory, and will assist the enterprise in swiftly readjusting its marketing strategy, further increasing its annual cigarette output, doing a good job of improving the structure of its cigarette brands, maintaining the market competitiveness of its cigarette brands, and promoting its sustainable and rapid development.
