<strong>China: Regional Government Delegation Visits HongyunHonghe on Cooperation</strong> 05/07/2013 ![]() A delegation from the government of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in north China visited HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province – the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer – on April 24, holding talks with top leaders of HongyunHonghe on the strengthening of business cooperation between the two sides. The delegation included Nashunmenghe, member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Inner Mongolia Committee and secretary of the CPC Hohhot City Committee; Dong Xiaomin, Director and General Manager of Inner Mongolia Tobacco Monopoly Administration; Liu Wenyu, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hohhot City Committee and secretary general of the CPC Hohhot City Committee; and Liu Jing, deputy mayor of Hohhot City. The delegation was accompanied by chief leaders of Inner Mongolia Kunming Cigarette Co., Ltd. affiliated to HongyunHonghe on the visit. During the visit, the delegation held talks with top HongyunHonghe leaders including Board of Directors Chairman Yao Qingyan, CEO Wu Yi and Chief Financial Officer Zhou Fangxu, as well as leaders of the marketing center, the Communist Party affairs office, the economic operation department, the production and manufacturing center, etc. At the talks, Wu Yi briefed the delegation on HongyunHonghe's production and operation situation, brands development, etc, and said that HongyunHonghe will closely cooperate with the Communist Party Committees and governments at all levels in Inner Mongolia and the tobacco industry of Inner Mongolia in jointly strengthening brands development and seeking common development. Speaking on the same occasion, Dong Xiaomin said that the regional tobacco monopoly administration will, strictly in accordance with the requirement of both Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Hohhot City, actively cooperate with HongyunHonghe in doing a good job of marketing and developing competitive cigarette brands, in efforts to promote income growth for the local finance of Inner Mongolia and business development of HongyunHonghe.
