<strong>China: HongyunHonghe Launch Pilot Project of Code of Conduct</strong>

HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province – the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer – held a ceremony to launch a pilot project of developing HongyunHonghe's Code of Conduct at its affiliated Kunming Cigarette Factory on April 19, in efforts to better regulate and standardize the conduct of the entire workforce of HongyunHonghe.

Attending the ceremony were more than 80 dignitaries including Secretary Yang Xiaoping of the Communist Party Committee at Kunming Cigarette Factory, relevant leaders of HongyunHonghe's Communist Party and Mass Work Department, leaders of HongyunHonghe's panel of experts for the development of the Code of Conduct, relevant leaders of Beijing NetsChina, secretaries of all Communist Party general branches, all middle-level managers at Production Department No. 2, operation chiefs and some representatives of workers and staff members.

At the ceremony, Yang Xiaoping required all departments of HongyunHonghe to be based on the realities and highlight priorities in launching the work developing the Code of Conduct in an in-depth and practical way, in terms of strengthening training and publicity, specifying responsibility, making performance grading strict, etc.

Also at the ceremony, Instructor Qi Yaping of Beijing NetsChina expounded on the general guideline and execution steps for implementing the pilot project of developing the Code of Conduct of HongyunHonghe. Enditem
