<strong>China: HongyunHonghe Issues System of Rules Governing Conduct</strong> Source from: HongyunHonghe Group 04/15/2013 ![]() HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province – the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer – issued and distributed on April 3 the System of Rules of HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group Governing Conduct, requiring all centers, departments, offices and production factories to do a good job of training about the system, implementation of the rules, etc. The System of Rules Governing Conduct comprises three parts – Chapters One, Two and Three. Chapter One of the system – The Norms of Public Ethics – provides for a set of basic ideological norms and tenets observable by employees with HongyunHonghe in terms of public ethics, occupational ethics and individual ethics, with the Outline of the Program for the Development of Ethics for Citizens as the basis. Chapter Two of the system – The Norms of Occupational Conduct – provides for a set of norms and tenets needed for meeting the trend of future development in light of the realities of production, operation and management of HongyunHonghe and the status quo of conduct of employees with HongyunHonghe. It includes traceability of conduct, symbols of conduct, characteristics of conduct and prevailing customs of conduct in four sections. And Chapter Three – The Norms of Ceremonial Conduct – provides for a set of norms governing the conduct of employees in terms of etiquettes of visit, etiquettes of meeting, etiquettes of receiving visitors, etiquettes of foreign contact, etiquettes of communication and etiquettes of transportation.
