China: HongyunHonghe Holds Symposium on Coordination on Cigarette Sales

HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province – the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer – held a December 4 a symposium on coordination with commercial enterprises from various Chinese provinces and cities in the sales of cigarette products of HongyunHonghe in the first half of 2013.

 

The symposium followed a meeting to mark the enlargement of the annual production capacity of Yunyan brand cigarettes to 3 million cases (150 billion cigarettes) and on the development of big competitive cigarette brands of Yunnan held on the same day.

General Manager Cao Huaqing of China Cigarette Sales Corporation and Deputy General Manager Gao Xingzhi of China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Co., Ltd. attended the symposium and highly commented on the work of brands development, technological innovation, etc of HongyunHonghe. The dignitaries attending the symposium also included HongyunHonghe Board of Directors Chairman Yao Qingyan and CEO Assistant Liu Genshuan.

As a result of talks on coordination at the symposium, HongyunHonghe's cigarette sales on the basis of coordination with commercial enterprises in the first half of 2013 will rise relatively sharply, with further improvement of the structure of cigarette brands, and with further concentration of cigarette products onto big competitive brands. In particular, the sales of Grade One cigarettes of HongyunHonghe on the basis of coordination with commercial enterprises in the first half of 2013 will go up sharply, with key specifications and new products of the Yunyan brand family showing good performance.

At the symposium, the marketing center and technology research and development center of HongyunHonghe particularly introduced the Yunyan Series and Refreshing, Sweet and Aromatic Series of cigarettes of HongyunHonghe. Representatives from commercial enterprises attending the symposium fully affirmed the technology research and development capacity and product reserve capacity of HongyunHonghe, and put forward many valuable opinions and suggestions in terms of the packaging and sensory aesthetic characteristics of cigarette products of HongyunHonghe.
