China: Scientific-Technological Projects of HongyunHonghe Pass Appraisal by STMA Source from: HongyunHonghe Group 11/26/2012 ![]() The State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (STMA) – the regulator of China's tobacco industry – held on November 21 a meeting to review and appraise three scientific-technological projects executed by HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province, including the project of Yunyan Cigarette Brand-Oriented Leaf Tobacco Threshing and Redrying Technology System Research. At the meeting, the appraisal council respectively appraised the three scientific-technological projects executed by HongyunHonghe – the project of Yunyan Cigarette Brand-Oriented Leaf Tobacco Threshing and Redrying Technology System Research, the project of Research of Flexible Manufacturing Systems Oriented Toward Group Processing and Make-to-Order and the project of Research of Energy Management Systems Oriented Toward Agile Manufacturing. The experts with the appraisal council respectively heard the working reports and technical reports of the three projects, conducted on-site verification, check the relevant data, raised questions and heard replies. After careful review and appraisal, the appraisal council unanimously agreed that the three projects generally met advanced domestic levels, with parts of the research achievements meeting advanced world levels. They believed that the conversion of the research achievements for practical application will inevitably contribute to promoting sustainable and healthy development of HongyunHonghe.
