China: Tobacco Logistics Company of Provincial Tobacco Industry Established

A grand ceremony was held recently to unveil the nameplate of Hunan Provincial China Tobacco Logistics Co., Ltd. wholly owned by China Tobacco Hunan Industrial Co., Ltd. in south central China's Hunan Province, signifying the official establishment of the company.

Jointly unveiling the nameplate of Hunan Provincial China Tobacco Logistics Co., Ltd. were General Manager and Communist Party group Secretary Zhou Changgong of China Tobacco Hunan Industrial Co., Ltd. and the general manager of Hunan Provincial China Tobacco Logistics Co., Ltd.

In response to the requirements of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration for building up the core competitiveness of the logistics sector of China's tobacco industry, further integrating resources of logistics, lowering the cost of logistics, and raising the efficiency of logistics, Hunan Provincial China Tobacco Logistics Co., Ltd., through efforts over the past nearly three years and in light of the requirement of the modern enterprise system, incorporated Hunan Provincial China Tobacco Logistics Co., Ltd. as a comprehensive tobacco logistics operation entity covering the supply logistics, the production logistics and the sales logistics of China Tobacco Hunan Industrial Co., Ltd. on the basis of effective integration of the businesses, resources and management of the previous six logistics companies of the provincial tobacco industry.

The dignitaries attending the ceremony included leaders of the relevant departments of China Tobacco Hunan Industrial Co., Ltd. and the six cigarette factories under it such as Changsha Cigarette Factory and Changde Cigarette Factory.  Enditem
