China Tobacco Shaanxi Industrial, BAT Reach Agreement on Cooperation

China Tobacco Shaanxi Industrial Co., Ltd. in northwest China's Shaanxi Province and British American Tobacco recently reached agreement on issues concerning business cooperation between the two sides over a future period of time, after holding talks on bilateral business cooperation on the occasion of a visit by a high-level delegation of British American Tobacco to China Tobacco Shaanxi Industrial Co., Ltd.

In accordance with unified arrangement by China Tobacco International Co., Ltd., a high-level delegation of the China operation of British American Tobacco paid a visit to China Tobacco Shaanxi Industrial Co., Ltd. recently, holding talks with officials from the import-export department, the technology center and the production and manufacturing center of China Tobacco Shaanxi Industrial Co., Ltd. and also from Baoji Cigarette Factory on the import and export of cigarette products over a future period of time.

In the talks, the two sides, on the basis of communication and exchange of opinions as well as preparation of sample products, discussed long-term demand of British American Tobacco for the supply of cigarette products, and exchanged views and held consultations on changes of product formulas, monthly production planning, quality control, testing, logistics, transportation, commercial cooperation, etc, before reaching agreement on arrangements for specific matters of cooperation over a future period of time.

To promote product cooperation with British American Tobacco in an orderly way is a priority of the work of China Tobacco Shaanxi Industrial Co., Ltd. to develop international markets, which will not only be in favor of strengthening strategic cooperation between the tobacco industry of China and British American Tobacco, but will also be beneficial for China Tobacco Shaanxi Industrial Co., Ltd. to draw on production, marketing and management ideas from transnational tobacco giants and to further enhance its overall competitiveness. Enditem
