China: Yunnan Industrial Co. Sends Publicity Staff Members To Receive Training

China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Co., Ltd. in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province sent publicity staff members with its relevant units to Fudan University in Shanghai to receive professional training on publicity and communication on September 17-21, in efforts to promote their professional proficiency and comprehensive capacity.

During the five-day training, the trainees were lectured by professors with Shanghai Normal University, Shanghai International Studies University and Fudan University on such courses as Corporate Public Relations and Opinions Management, Application of the Internet in Breaking Events of Public Crises, Corporate Brands Maintenance and Media Relations Maintenance and Modern Media Reform and Development Trends, which were highly enlightening.

The trainees learned how to make a use of the Internet to conduct corporate publicity and communication under harsh situations, how to settle negative public opinions, how to make corporate publicity and cultural development mutually supportive, etc, which served to provide orientation and means for their future work of publicity and communication.
