China Tobacco Machinery Group Co. Delegation Visits Hongta Group

A high-level delegation from China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd., led by Board of Directors Chairman and General Manager Wang Jianfa, visited Hongta Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province on September 14, exchanging views with the leadership of Hongta Group on further strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the research and development of tobacco machinery.

Accompanied by Deputy General Manager Xie Kunhuo of China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Co., Ltd., Deputy CEO Ge Fuming of Hongta Group and Director Ma Yuncan of Yuxi Cigarette Factory, the delegation was shown around Yuxi Cigarette Factory and heard reports on the situation of equipment at Yuxi Cigarette Factory given by Ma Yuncan. At talks with the leadership of Hongta Group, Wang Jianfa expressed gratitude to Hongta Group for its contribution to the research, development and production of equipment by China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd. over the past many years, and put forward a package of four proposals for the development of Hongta Group in future: Firstly, Hongta Group can strengthen cooperation with China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd. by strengthening the establishment of joint laboratories, etc. Secondly, Hongta Group can strengthen cooperation with China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd. in the execution of major exclusive research projects, to upgrade its technological platforms. Thirdly, Hongta Group can make a use of means of informatization in strengthening training on the use of equipment. And fourthly, Hongta Group can, through comparison of the performance of equipment, discover problems, solve problems and promote its management to higher levels. Meanwhile, Deputy General Manager Qu Wei of China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd. expressed the hope that Hongta Group will further specify its equipment planning for the 2011-2015 five-year period, further strengthen communication and exchange with China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd., and further strengthen bilateral cooperation with China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd. in research and development of tobacco machinery. Speaking on the same occasion, Xie Kunhuo put forward requirements for further specifying the equipment planning for the 2011-2015 five-year period, strengthening and accelerating the rate of utilization of home-manufactured tobacco machinery and equipment, and strengthening cooperation with China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd.
