China: Hongta CEO Li Suiming inspects Zhaotong Cigarette Factory

CEO Li Suiming of Hongta Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province – a leading Chinese tobacco manufacturer – inspected Zhaotong Cigarette Factory affiliated to Hongta on September 11, visiting production facilities, hearing reports on operation and technological transformation, and giving instructions on future work.

Braving a drizzle and accompanied the leadership of Zhaotong Cigarette Factory, Li conducted on-site inspection of the project of technological transformation of the leaf tobacco cutting line, the leaf tobacco threshing and redrying workshop and the warehousing area of the cigarette factory.
During the inspection, Li heard reports at a meeting on progress in executing the project of technological transformation of the leaf tobacco cutting line and the leaf tobacco threshing and redrying line, and application for replacement of the production boilers at the factory, and elaborately asked about the impacts of the September 7 earthquake on the warehousing area of the factory.
After hearing the reports, Li fully affirmed the work of Zhaotong Cigarette Factory already done, pointing out that the leadership of Zhaotong Cigarette Factory is a united, cooperative, mutually supportive and practically working leadership. On damages caused by the September 7 earthquake, Li required that further efforts be made to screen against hidden dangers prior to testing and assessment to be performed by experts, and to do a good job of issuing warnings at the disaster areas.
Attending the meeting were the entire leadership and part of the middle-level management staff of Zhaotong Cigarette Factory. Enditem
