China: Hongta Ranks 2nd  in Tobacco Industry among Top 500 Chinese Enterprises

Hongta Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province – the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer – ranks the 143th among the Top 500 Chinese Enterprises in 2012, with an annual business revenue of 77.261 billion yuan, which were selected recently by China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association on the basis of competitive comprehensive grading. On September 1, 2012, China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association jointly promulgated in Changchun, capital city of east China's Jilin Province, the list of the Top 500 Chinese Enterprises, the list of the Top 500 Chinese Enterprises of the Manufacturing Industry, the list of the Top 500 Chinese Enterprises of the Service Industry, and the list of the Top 200 Chinese Enterprises in Terms of Economic Efficiency for the year 2012. Hongta also takes the 2nd place in tobacco industry among the Top 500 Chinese manufacturing enterprises for 2012 and 1st place in Yunnan enterprises among the Top 200 Chinese Enterprises in Terms of Economic Efficiency for the year 2012.
