JT Helps Flood Victims in Kyoto

Japan Tobacco Inc. is donating ¥1.0 million to the Kyoto Prefecture to help those who have been affected by flooding in the southern part of Kyoto, Japan. In making the announcement, the company expressed its deepest sympathies to all of those who had been affected. Last month the company donated ¥2.0 million to help flood-affected areas of northern Kyushu. This amount was made up of a ¥1.0 million donation to the Kumamoto Prefecture, a ¥0.5 million donation to the Oita Prefecture, and a ¥0.5 million donation to the Fukuoka Prefecture. Enditem
