China: HongyunHonghe Holds Symposium on Challenges, Countermeasures

HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province held on July 26 a symposium on "challenges faced by the tobacco industry of China and countermeasures adoptable", in efforts to keep enhancing the awareness of its entire workforce about potential risks and responsibility, and to enable its workers to clearly understand the current situation, determine the direction of endeavor, become firmly confident and be pioneering. Director Li Baojiang of the Policy Research Office of the Economic Research Institute of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration was invited to give a lecture at the symposium under the title of "challenges faced by the tobacco industry of China and countermeasures adoptable". More than 100 people including HongyunHonghe leaders Yao Qingyan, Wu Yi et al, the leaders of all the centers, departments and offices of HongyunHonghe and representatives of workers attended the symposium. In the lecture, Li Baojiang interpreted the current situation faced by the tobacco industry of China within the existing framework of economic development in terms of "the analysis of four major challenges and reflection on countermeasures", etc, and analyzed in an in-depth way the future development orientation and countermeasures adoptable.
