Imperial Provides Best Place to Work in Slovakia Source from: Tobacco Reporter 07/16/2012 ![]() Imperial Tobacco has reported that its business in Slovakia has been named the best place to work in the country following an independently conducted employee engagement survey.
The Happy Company study not only captured engagement levels but also identified whether employers make best use of their people and their potential.
Imperial Tobacco Slovakia won praise for recognising employees’ achievements, for its sense of solidarity in the workplace, and for maintaining excellent working conditions.
Robert Beres, market manager, and Lucia Pavlikova, HR manager, accepted the award at a ceremony in Bratislava organised by the Life Coaching Institute, which led the survey.
"Happiness at work is not a result of but the root of success and there‘s a significant link to profitability and performance,” said Pavlikova. “It’s important to create conditions for our employees that enable them to do their best for the company and also enjoy their work.”
Meanwhile, Beres expressed the company’s pride at receiving the award. “People are one of our key assets and a highly engaged organisation works better together when people perform to their best ability,” he added. Enditem
