China: Provincial Corporation Delegation Inspects HongyunHonghe

A delegation from China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Co., Ltd., led by Board of Directors Chairman and Communist Party group secretary Liu Wandong, inspected HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China’s tobacco-producing Yunnan Province – the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer – on June 28, hearing reports on business operation of HongyunHonghe, and putting forward requirements for future operation of the tobacco group. HongyunHonghe leaders Yao Qingyan, Wu Yi, Xu Liwei, Bi Fenglin, Dai Wei and Huang Muzhong as well as leaders of the relevant departments of the tobacco group attended a meeting with the delegation held during the inspection. After hearing reports on the operation of HongyunHonghe given by Yao Qingyan, Liu Wandong fully affirmed the work of the Board of Directors of HongyunHonghe and also the work of executing projects of investment planning. He expressed the hope that HongyunHonghe will promptly rectify the various aspects of the work of production, management and operation on the part of the subordinate factories, will keep promoting production and operation of the factories to higher levels, and will continue maintaining sustainable, steady and healthy development of the tobacco group. The delegation also grouped secretaries with the Board of Directors and relevant personnel with the General Office of the Board of Directors of China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Co., Ltd., as well as secretaries with the Boards of Directors and relevant personnel with the General Offices of the Boards of Directors of Hongta Group and the materials supply group.
