China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Co. Undergoes Leadership Reshuffle

China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Co., Ltd. in southwest China’s tobacco-producing Yunnan Province has recently undergone a leadership reshuffle, in which General Manager Zhu Shaoming has concurrently assumed the post of secretary of the Communist Party group at the company, and in which Liu Wandong has quitted both the post of secretary of the Communist Party group and the post of deputy general manager of the company. At a general meeting of managers and workers held on July 2, the Human Resources Department of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (STMA) read out the official documents on the leadership reshuffle. The reshuffle has also resulted in some other leadership changes: Li Xinjun was appointed an inspector, the chief of the disciplinary inspection group of the Communist Party group, and a member of the Communist Party Group of China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Co., Ltd. Xu Ze and Zhao Zimin were appointed inspectors of China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Co., Ltd. Jiang Shunhua was appointed an inspector of Hongta Group. Director Sun Xiaoying of the Human Resources Department of the STMA attended the meeting and delivered a speech on behalf of the STMA. Relevant leaders of the Cadres Division of the Chinese Communist Party Yunnan Provincial Committee’s Organizational Department also attended the meeting. Reading out the official documents on the leadership reshuffle were relevant leaders of the Human Resources Department of the STMA. Speaking at the meeting, Zhu Shaoming expressed gratitude to the STMA for its care and trust, and also expressed thanks to Liu Wandong for his contributions to the company, saying: “I will strive to promote scientific development, harmonious development and common development of China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Co., Ltd.” Also speaking at the meeting, Liu Wandong said that the decision of the STMA on the leadership reshuffle will contribute to greatly strengthening the leadership of China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Co., Ltd. "Personally, I am very much grateful to the decision of the Communist Party group at the STMA. In the ensuing period of time, I will well fulfill my remaining duty. I am firmly confident that led by the new leadership headed by Comrade Zhu Shaoming, China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Co., Ltd. will have a brighter future." Enditem
