HongyunHonghe Wins Prize for Alleviating Poverty, Supporting Education

HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province – the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer – has recently won a "prize for alleviating poverty, supporting education, helping the needy and assisting scholarship" for its outstanding contribution of donations for education over recent years. HongyunHonghe won the prize at the 2nd representative conference and also commending assembly of the Education Supporting and Scholarship Assisting Committee of Yunnan Educational Foundation jointly sponsored by Yunnan Province Education Administration and Yunnan Education Foundation held on May 29. In an exchange speech delivered at the meeting on behalf of HongyunHonghe, Inspector Wei Zhigang introduced successful approaches and advanced experience of HongyunHonghe in supporting education and assisting scholarship. He said that in future, HongyunHonghe will keep innovating its working approaches in this endeavor within its capacity, will keep donating funds and will do its bit to unswervingly support development of the cause of education in Yunnan.
